03 Contemporary · Modern · High-Tech
Today's dominant language — clean lines, flat roofs,
floor-to-ceiling glass and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Roughly eight out of ten
new villas on the coast are built in this family of styles.
One family, three temperatures
Buyers often use these words interchangeably — the difference is warmth.
Contemporary softens the geometry with wood, natural stone and
cream tones. Modern is cooler and more graphic: white volumes,
glass, concrete, minimal ornament. High-Tech adds the engineering
as aesthetics — smart-home systems, dramatic cantilevers, aluminium and steel left
visible. In listings on this coast, all three usually appear under "modern" —
we specify which temperature you are actually looking at.
